(Kind of Healthy) Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

With the holiday season upon us, the endless cycle of bad eating decisions is bound to commence.
When we start getting hungry between meals, we often find ourselves arm deep in unhealthy and unnecessary snacks. Here’s a healthier alternative:

Pumpkin Pie Smoothie 🎃

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • half of a 15oz can of pure pumpkin
  • 1 6oz container of greek yogurt (you can also use plain or a vanilla flavored one)
  • 1 tbsp of honey (more or less depending on your preferred level of sweetness)
  • 1 tsp of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
  • handful of ice
  • whipped cream

Blend ice with pumpkin & yogurt. Mix in honey, cinnamon & nutmeg. Top with whipped cream, honey drizzle & cinnamon or nutmeg sprinkle.

Enjoy!

Holy Cheezus

Add Raclette NYC to your To-Do List. Do you like cheese? Stupid question, everyone loves cheese. (Not gonna lie, I’ve dreamt about cheese.) Do you find yourself trolling through the Instagram hashtag #cheeseporn?

If you said yes and started sweating, keep reading..

If you answered ‘no’ to either question, in the wise words of Regina George, “you can go shave your back now.”

What is “Raclette”?
Raclette is a semi-hard cow’s milk cheese. It is most commonly used in a Swiss/French dish that consists of melting/broiling the top of the cheese and scraping it onto a plate of potatoes, cornichons, pickled onions and any type of cured meat (my favorite is prosciutto).

Usually, a raclette dish arrives at your table like the picture above. What sets Raclette NYC apart from any other place serving the dish is this…

#CHEESEPORN

They bring the cheese to your seat and physically scrape it over your plate. LIKE OMG I CAN’T EVEN DEAL!  Now watch it in semi-slow motion.

Moral of the story… You need to go to Raclette NYC!

Down side of the story… The restaurant only holds about 14 seats in total and they’re currently booked through June.
